Kennedy Range National Park
The Kennedy Range National Park lies roughly 150 kilometres east of Carnarvon and is surrounded by pastoral leases. The park offers spectacular scenery of gorges and precipitous faces, with a vast plateau of ancient dunefields on top of the range. The area still retains a wilderness feeling, and camping beneath the stark sandstone cliffs is an experience not to be missed.

The National Park is semi developed attracting the more adventurous visitor seeking a wilderness-style experience. However being within an hours drive of Gascoyne Junction, it is also attracting those who want to sample the outback experience, but still feel a little unsure of leaving 'civilization'.
