The Homestead Park
Kids of all ages will love this huge, accessible park. It is packed with swings, slides, sandboxes, tunnels, ramps, water squirt machines, and cranes to dig and scoop rocks. There are also walking paths, basketball courts, and shelter houses. A great way to spend the day.

Three Creeks Park
Over 1,000 acres, this Columbus Metro Park is named for the area where three creeks meet: Alum, Big Walnut and Blacklick. I found walking around the Ohio State University campus interesting, especially seeing the famous football stadium (avoid going on a football Saturday in the fall unless you have tickets to the game because the crowds and traffic are unbelievable).
